BBC Look North
March 29th 2021
Look North came to Brentwood to report on tennis opening up! We were thrilled the sun came out. Brilliant to get our little club on TV and even better to be back on court playing.

Yorkshire LTA Awards 2021
We have some amazing news!
Yorkshire LTA have just announced the county winners of the LTA Tennis Awards and Brentwood have won Club of the Year. We’ve also won the Disability Award thanks to the fantastic community programme ran by our Coach Ben Howarth! We all appreciate Ben and everything he does and it's great to see him recognised in this way.
This is a huge honour and we are delighted. Thank you to everyone for making Brentwood such a great place to play tennis. There are many volunteers who have put an incredible amount of time and effort into Brentwood - thank you all!
In addition to the above, Ben received Highly Commended in the Development Coach of the Year category. This is fantastic and fully deserved for everything he does.
Jan Atkins also Highly Commended in the Lifetime Achievement category. As you all know, Jan has been an absolutely key part of everything Brentwood for many years now. She embodies everything that's great about our friendly, welcoming, community club. Well done Jan and thank you - Brentwood wouldn't be what it is without you.
We can't wait to get back on court soon and celebrate! Fingers crossed for a positive 2021 #iheartbrentwood ♥️🎾🏆
